I am a mother to four wonderful daughters. I love being their mother. One of my daughter's has been diagnosed with PDD-NOS, Dyslexia, and Mood Disorder. Another one has ADHD and Mood problems.
The days at my house aren't always easy but they are rewarding. As a parent to special needs children I have to juggle a lot of appointments, IEP meetings, and more. It is difficult enough managing special needs children without teachers, family members and friends trying to give you advice or parenting tips. I created this blog as an outlet to vent with a reasonable amount of privacy. If someone that knows me really looked they might stumble on this blog. However, I just don't talk about having it in order to not hurt anyone's feelings if their comments, advice, or things they do is something I vent about. I absolutely am looking to connect with mothers everywhere, whether or not their kids have special needs, or family situations. I welcome comments online. I also welcome suggestions from mothers in similar situations as me or not. Although, I just contradicted myself, here i am SOLICITING advice and comments, whereas family members and friends assume that it is wanted and jump right in with it. :) :) :) Discussions online can be educational and supportive.
