Billene Seyoum

I am a feminist, writer and poet now in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I studied Gender and Peacebuilding at the University for Peace in Costa Rica and presently working on finalizing a second MA in Conflict Transformation through the University of Innsbruck in Austria.
My previous blog identity EthiopianFeminist has evolved to AfricanFeminism to cover continent wide issues and enhance my learning process and that of my readers. I aim to share thoughts on and inform on regional gender issues. By virtue of currently being stationed in Ethiopia, i will continue to share my experiences here while also exploring issues elsewhere in Africa.
