Hassan is a Journalist based in South Africa. His experience includes, Documentary film making, Research, Radio production, print, public relations, investigative reporting and online media. He is a postgraduate student and holds a second class upper division bachelors degree in mass communication. He started his career as a correspondent for Daily monitor in Uganda. Hassan also taught Journalism at several Journalism colleges. In 2007, he joined an international broadcasting company in Johannesburg, before moving to work for community and commercial radio. Hassan regularly appears on several leading international TV & Radio stations as a Political analyst. He corresponds for a number of international media outlets. Hassan is interested in networking, and intellectualism.
As a Journalist he, has interviewed many high profile people including Politicians, Ambassadors, Academics and military Generals, among them, lieutenant General Hamid Gul (Pakistan), General Mirza Aslam Beg (former Pakistan Army chief of staff), Professor Kader Asmal, (former SA minister), Major Ba_Hoku Barigye (AMISOM-Spokesperson)among others.
Hassan greatly admires the works and professional success of Fareed Zakaria,-News week international managing Editor, Ferial Haffage-Editor in-chief city press, Riz Khan and Rageh Omar of Al-Jazeera. Hassan has travelled to nearly all Africa countries.
