Akanbi Albert Afeso hails from Ososo, Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State, south-west Nigeria, West Africa. Born on the 31 March 1982, by the year 1999, he had completed secondary school in Lagos, Nigeria. He proceeded to Delta State in 2002, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, from the Delta State University, Abraka in 2006. Returning to Lagos, he completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme in 2008. After working briefly with the private sector in Lagos, he left Lagos, early 2011, to pick up a federal appointment in Ile-Ife, Osun State, south-west, Nigeria. His desire for education and learning later propelled him to obtain an MBA from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State. Currently, he works with the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), an agency under the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology. He is a member of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), the international Society of Young Writers (SYW) and also he is the Osun State representative of Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW). A simply and humorous man who believes in the golden rule as it is espoused by Jesus Christ and Rabbi Hillel, ‘...do unto others as you would like them to do to you...’, he believes very strongly that if all people and nations of the earth everywhere imbibe these words and make it the basis of dealings with one another, the world will be a much better place for us all to live in. As a writer, he is dedicated, albeit through his books, to preach this message of love for one’s neighbor to all people. This blog is first and foremost about his novels before any other issues as it affect humanity.
