Alton Albany Farm is a riverside Farmhouse in a picturesque valley a short walk from the pretty conservation village of Barr. The Stinchar River runs along the edge of the grounds and a burn through the orchard. There is unspoilt hill walking and rambling in stunning scenery, mountain biking, cycling, fishing and birdwatching within easy reach. Beaches nearby with views to Ailsa Craig and the Western Isles. The Galloway Forest Park, the first Dark Sky Park in the UK and one of the best places for stargazing in the world is also close by.
