Probably the most important thing about me is my two Corgis. You'll see pictures of them all over my post! That's Aspen at the top. She came from the pound at seven months. I was lucky enough to look at the photos on the WEB the morning after a family gave her up, rush over there only to find out there were five people on the list in front of me, and fret for days as each of them had their chance to take her first. They she came home with me!
Aspen loves games. She wants to play keep away most of all. She doesn't like to cuddle for long periods of time, but that's okay because my other corgi does. I got him at 12 weeks to keep her company. Really, I just went to see the cute puppies, and of course I came home with one. They play together pretty well most of the time, except when they're competing for my attention.

I am a writer, massage therapist, flutist, applied mathematician. I'm just wrapping up that first novel, whose working title is Naked Lobster. I play in a band called Tropicante, in Bend, Oregon, and teach flute through the Cascade School of Music.
