Having lived and worked in countries as diverse as Papua New Guinea and Holland, and ten others, Apple writes, sometimes humorously, about her travels, and is published in magazines and e-zines, drawing on her experiences to offer down-to-earth observations and encouragement for those about to embark on the global trail, or who already live the life.
Her memoir, Expat Life Slice by Slice (Summertime Publishing 2012) tells of that nomadic life. Her debut novel, Fireburn, (OC Publishing 2017) is being picked up by book clubs around the world. The sequel Transfer was released on March 31st. 2019 to coincide with the transfer of ownership of the Danish West Indies to America in 1917. Her 3rd historical novel, this time set in 1950s Malaya during The Emergency, is out trawling for an agent. Meanwhile under hunker down orders she is about to start work on a prequel to Fireburn.
