In November 2011 I was diagnosed with SLE- Lupus. It's a chronic autoimmune disease that I will be dealing with for the rest of my life. But my motto is \"Whatever doesn't kill me- can only make me stronger\" ...in the long run.\n\n So that's me, why I'm here, blogging.\n\nI love to exercise- especially Pilates and Yoga. I believe they are good for the body and the mind. I'm very introspective, and tend to overthink everything. I am an in the moment- let''s do it now kind of a person. Love it or hate it, that''s who I am.\n\nAll of that is a bit harder since my diagnosis, and loss of use of my right leg- but I am regaining strength and taking control of my body one day at a time. \n\nI love people who know how to sit down, be real with you, and have a good conversation. It takes some time for me to trust people, but I think in this day and age- it should. \n\nI LOVE music. It is healing. Apparently I love writing, because each time I sit down to do a blog I just keep going and going! I really appreciate art- of almost any kind, and love to experience other people's feelings and thoughts. \n\nI'm a pretty strong, stubborn, independent young lady... which can be good or bad at times. Right now, it's kind of bad since I have lost a bit of independence. \n\nANYWAYS, hope you enjoy reading my blog.
