I am a marketing student, with a firm belief in always putting the customer first. I enjoy going through customer scenarios and analyzing ad campaigns. I wasn't sure about going into business when I first applied to university, but I can now see very obviously that I chose the correct Major.
For those of you who find that boring, I also love yoga, horseback riding, dancing and unfortunately; watching television. I only recently discovered my interest and curiosity about different types of fitness and healthy living. In an attempt to lose weight a few years ago, I encountered a woman who explained how my metabolism works and how different types of foods interact within my body. She also covered the obvious side of burning more calories than I consume.
Ever since then, I have been trying out different types of exercise and genuinely started to enjoy them once I learned there was more to it than gym class. I will admit I still haven’t developed a passion for eating well, but I do enjoy trying new recipes and learning about healthy food. I just need that push to actually consume it, as opposed to Starbucks mochas or carb binges.
One last thing I enjoy: sharing my passion and experiences with others and working with others. That is why I am here. My goal is to share my fitness experiences, funny stories, and cooking experiences, good or bad, with you. Hopefully we can build up a community and inspire the world to discover their inner sweat machine one blogger at a time.
