I worked in a Newspaper from Pamplona, Spain named Diario de Navarra (www.diariodenavarra.es) for 25 years and I have been Associated professor in the school of Journalism of the University of Navarre. My family came from Croatia but we live in Spain. My father was a journalist too and during the WWII was made prisoner by the fascists of Mussolini and by the communists because he was independent. He had to fly the country.I went back to report about the failed democratization efforts at the former Yugoslavia and then about the Balkan's war. After that I have been working for two years as a stringer in the US (in NYC and SF (CA). I Would Like to write some comments about what's going on in the world from that triple perspective as a person who knows eastern, central and western Europe and some of the US. And if I can, I would like to do it in Spanish And English in this new media. That's my goal. I know there are zillions of blogs like this, but I would like to put my point of view out there.
