<aboutMe>I am a mum to my wonderful boys, wife to my lovely husband and a teacher by profession. I took a break from teaching to enable me to stay at home with my children. Whilst at home I set up my own business which I then ran for 5 very happy years. I cooked, froze and delivered home made food for babies and young children within a 10 mile radius of my home in south west England. In addition to the everyday food that I supplied, I also became very creative with cake making and decorating. Sadly, illness meant that I had to put my business on hold for a while. Whilst I was recuperating I regained my love of teaching and was very lucky to be employed by a local school. I was able to manage my work level whilst also having time to persue my creative side at home. This creative side of me had been severely neglected since I stopped creating cakes for my customers. There then followed a foray in to knitting and water colour painting, I also started keeping a cookery blog. I've now reached the point where I'm constantly looking for inspiration. I love being inspired to cook, paint and knit and that is where this blog finds me, wanting to keep a record of creations both good and bad.</aboutMe>
