Emily

Right now I'm a girl sitting in a hospital bed waiting for my pancreas to heal. I haven't eaten in four weeks, and I could kill for a slice of pepperoni pizza when I'm not feeling nauseous anymore. Through my struggles the past weeks and in the ones I'm sure are to come, I'm discovering who my true friends are and how much my family means to me. Deep in my heart I know God will take care of me and he won't give me anymore than I can handle. I just have to take one step closer to the end of my journey that's a few thousand miles away.
