Brian Bwesigye

I am an LLM – Human Rights student at the Central European University, Budapest. I completed my LLB degree from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda where I was a student president of Uganda Law Students' Society 2008/2009 and also founded Prima facie magazine, a law students’ magazine from 2007 – 2009. I also chaired the university Debating Club while at Makerere University and represented the university in various local, regional and international moot court competitions. I have keen interest in the Kiga Cultural Identity, Indigenous Minority People’s Rights, Gender Equality, East African Integration and International Justice, interests I aim at satisfying through creative (fiction) and academic writing, activism and community work.
