In 2007, my wife landed a position with a law firm in Jacksonville, so we upped sticks from Texas. I am a former journalist with The Birmingham Post, England and Adweek here in the United States. My cultural roots are in Stoke-on-Trent, England, where I was born and raised. I attended Manchester University for six years and after graduating stayed on in the area for the next 26 years.
