NOTE:At 35 years old, during Pinktober 2011, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, multifocal, poorly differentiated, positive margin after surgery). My treatment plan: innocent trip to the doctor, biopsy, shock, paralyzing fear, bilateral mastectomy (tissue expanders), chemotherapy, traumatizing hair loss, radiation, reconstruction, and the possibility of living out the dream of retirement at the beach.  This blog is an attempt to get my feelings out of my brain and into the clean air.
