I've been making photographs since I was a wee lad in the 60's (that's the 1960's). I obtained my first 35mm SLR as a teenager, then moved up to my beloved Olympus OM-2n in college. That served me well for many years as my passion for photography would fade and intensify in an unpredictable fashion.
Today I'm using a Nikon dSLR and loving it. Although I find the most enjoyment from photographing nature, I also photograph people or anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. I am based in Wichita, Kansas, which may explain how excited I get when I get to see mountains or oceans.
Whatever skill I have developed is due to all those years of practice, as well as the inspiration I get from the work of all those stunningly talented photographers whose work I see on a daily basis. Thanks to all of you fellow enthusiasts who continually raise the bar.
