		<aboutMe>Hey everybody! My name is Kelsey. I&apos;m a 16-year-old with a love of cooking and a determination to be healthy. I&apos;ve been a vegetarian for two and a half years and have recently begun my journey into the world of Clean Eating!

Not sure what a Clean Eating is? In a nutshell, you avoid ALL processed, unnatural foods. White flour and white sugar are among the biggies, but that also includes any sort of chemicals or preservatives. Basically, I don&apos;t eat anything my body wasn&apos;t made to consume. So, what do I eat? Vegetables, fruit, whole grains and lean protein (not meat and lately less dairy. I&apos;m a vegetarian experimenting with veganism). That includes whole grain breads &amp;amp; pasta, brown rice, oats, quinoa, beans, tofu, flax seed, nuts, natural nut butters, soy/almond milk, and eggs, cottage cheese and plain, low-fat yogurt when I&apos;m not being vegan.

The goal is to get in 5-6 meals a day every 2 1/2-3 hours, each consisting of complex carbs and lean protein. I usually get in 4-5 meals a day: two contain fruit, 2-3 contain starchy carbs (bread, rice, oats, sweet potatoes), and two contain a serving of healthy fats, such as olive oil, nuts &amp;amp; nut butters, coconut or avocado.

I&apos;m also home schooled; not once have I ever attended public school. I began acting at the age of 5 and have loved it ever since! My most recent project is a movie that can be found at all RedBoxes called Minor Details. (www.minordetailsthemovie.com) I do ballroom dance as well, and I tend to sing. All the time. Not even kidding. :)
