I am primarily a mother, wife, and what I call a 'householder'. I have meditated for 15 years, attended several meditation retreats, and read widely in spiritual literature, but am not affiliated with any religion or spiritual center. I have a Master's Degree in Journalism from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism and have worked as an editor and writer for numerous national and local publications, primarily in the field of health care.
