Way back when I was a twenty-something gal and going through a horrible quarter-life-crisis, a soul searching session made me realize I'm actually a writer. I thought it was irrational to just quit my job and follow my dream. I was convinced that it would be the end of the world and that my family would drag me into a public square and stone me to death. So instead I decided to remain miserable and blog about it. Until last summer when I grew a pair, quit my job, moved back home and started that writing career. Now I freelance for corporations writing content for brochures, newsletters and websites. And I'm working on that novel- for real now!

Fun fact: I got my nickname- yes it's Coco for Chanel- from my ex co-workers, not only because I fancy myself very stylish, but mostly because we have our name in common and my ultimate dream used to be owning a Chanel suit.

Although it's hard to prance around in last season's Louboutins paired with bargain dresses and I have to beg for gas money in order to drive my Beemer, I love what I do....usually that is. I still need my blog to vent about life. 'Cuz, really, if you're 100% happy, what else is there to live for??
