Cole Farnum
Somerville, MA
Cole joined Education Pioneers in Boston after completing his Master of Education in International Education Policy at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Previously, he received a dual B.A. in International Relations and Economics from Boston University and also worked as a campus campaign manager for Teach For America (TFA). In TFA, he spent two years in rural south Texas teaching 5th grade mainstream, bilingual and special education in a self-contained classroom. He then re-joined Teach For America’s recruitment team only to follow new corps members to the 2009 Houston Summer Institute as a Corps Member Advisor. Cole has also worked closely with two Boston-based educational non-profits Educators For Social Responsibility and Jobs For The Future, respectively. This summer, he currently works at Prospect Hill Academy Charter School (PHA) as an assistant to the Head of School.
