daisyandzelda
We are Daisy and Zelda. In our separate but fabulous ways, we are both freelance media people; Daisy is a print editor, and Zelda works in the film and television industry. We are also mummies, but we're not super mummies. Sometimes we screw up slow cooker recipes; we don’t soak the crap stains out of onesies … and we’re both kinda failing in our efforts to curb our potty mouths in front of the children. In fact, we’re probably just about as super as most mummies are; we love the little angels and will do ANYTHING for them – until it starts interfering with our sanity, our health, or our 6 o’clock glass of pinot. The two of us have different perspectives on stuff, but our underlying philosophy is pretty similar – and the fact that you’ve found your way this far means we probably don’t have to spell it out for you. Just refer to clichés of modern motherhood numbers 1, 2 and 3: ‘This too shall pass’, ‘Healthy mum = healthy baby’ and ‘Do what you can until it stops working – then do something else’.
We are obsessed with all things baby. And we find all things mummy quite interesting too. We are tireless in our quest to scour the internet in search of information, inspiration, and that sense of solidarity that reminds us that, as mummies, we’re all in this together.
