An Australian formerly from Melbourne, Victoria (and Horsham, before that). In 2011 I moved across to the other side of the world and ironically ended up living in Melbourne Beach, Florida for a while, then in May 2011 I moved to Seattle, Washington USA. Now as we near 2013 I am roaming the world again.
My passion in life is travel and enjoying the experiences and places that the world has to offer. Over the years I have been fortunate in having the opportunity to travel widely in Australasia, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Central America and North America and have many more journeys planned for the future.
Apart from travel my interests are diverse and possibly somewhat confusing to many! These include world history, aircraft, ships, military vehicles, classic cars, music (especially heavy metal/hard rock), movies, sporting events, photography, hiking, natural wonders, wildlife, architecture, food and the weird and wonderful. All of these subjects will often get a mention in my blog posts with a touch of my dry sense of humour.
