NOTE:Born and raised in the Midwest, Dan lives in the Chicagoland area. With a son from a previous marriage, he has since built a committed relationship of 27  years with his partner, the love of his life. Having written his whole life, he's now moved into blogging as another outlet for positive personal change.  His musical interests have always been eclectic (e.g., Ancient, Classical, Jazz (smooth and old school), Blues, Gospel, Disco/Dance, Pop & Electronica).  Having learned from his Grandpa, he's a pretty good amateur carpenter who does architectural elevations and floor plans when it's time for a mental vacation.
