As I was growing up, my parents taught me to treat all people as equals—that equality was something that needed to be fought for and defended. With that in mind, it’s easy to see how I became a social justice activist before my 14th birthday. The amazing and challenging experiences I had as a youth combined with my passion to serve others, created my mission: to educate and empower young people whose voices are overlooked and marginalized.
Now I am a Youth Development & Service Learning professional with a passion for leadership and social change.
