I am from California, love to travel, study Linguistics, and love learning new things. I love horses, especially Dressage, along with show jumping and eventing. I grew up in Pony Club, even though I moved a lot. Since early childhood, my family hosted foreign exchange students, meaning that I have grown up translating and working as a tour guide/B&B hostess.

I love to explore, and come from a long line of pirates and vikings. I don't like to stay in one place too long because I like to get out and see the world. Yet, I also like certain things a certain way. Hygiene is important, even when you are forced into situations where this is relative.

I believe the keys to happiness are flexibility and optimism. Through travel, we learn who we really are and what is truly important to us (because if anything is REALLY that important, we will find a way to make it happen). World peace can only come through world perspective. Asalaam alaikum!
