To tell you a bit about "Kirsten Dinesen"..which is my pen name (and... the name I always thought I should have been given....Had I been asked).......smile....
I have always been driven by a fun-loving, and very curious nature. I was born with a natural sense of adventure and drawn to explore my surroundings. My passion is in Art, in all its many forms, which is what led me into photography.
I have always admired the work, of all creative people...
My given name is "Dorothy " as in the Wizard of Oz, I live in the Emerald City of the GREAT Pacific Northwest, Seattle Washington.
Since moving to this area almost 7 years ago, I have fallen head over heels in love with all the beauty and diversity offered in this remarkable area of our country.
I am constantly amazed and in awe of so easily having the ability within a few hours drive...to completely change the climate, the landscape, the elevation and even the country!
The purpose of this site is to provide a photo journal to chronicle and document the places, the musings, the events and "occasionally, the "special people" who inspire me along the way and keep me wanting more.
I look forward to meeting fellow "travelers" on this journey, to learn about your artistic talents, trade a few stories and share our creative projects.
