I am a forty eight year old Social Worker/Counselor/ Business Major that loves God and humanity. My life has been a reflection of this since birth although most of my childhood experiences were not met with my request or approval; I have used them as a means to help others who struggle from difficult life issues and challenges. I continue to learn to laugh and find enjoyment in my life in spite of the medical set backs of a traumatic Brain injury in part due to my childhood experiences.
My prayer today is that the wisdom and knowledge that God has taught me from these life changing lessons will empower others to reach out, talk, and advocate until someone hears you and the help you deserve comes your way. No one should have to live an isolated life due to the violence brought upon him or her by others. God is good and He will help you through the process, but rest assured that he will not leave you without a supportive team of positive cheerleaders either.
