I am a 26-year-old clinical research professional from Chennai, India. I love to read blogs and opinion pieces about the happenings around the world. I have not yet started active blogging. I do not know how to sum up my thoughts in a reader-friendly format and am better off listening to what people have to say about world events, politics, religion, sex, social issues, the state of the economy, science and technology, the Internet and other stuff that have a direct impact in the way we lead our lives as we approach the next age of social networking.

I am interested in discovering news and am pleased when I interact with like-minded people from all over the world and ascertain their viewpoints on some of the burning issues of the day. Although, the Web has given us an incredible chance for us to express ourselves to the world outside, the real power is yet to be harnessed. The golden age surely would come when everyone would have an opinion and which would also count in the way the society functions and governments run.

Please feel free to comment on my posts because I would like to know whether I sound interesting enough or is a change of style necessary. I have to learn a lot in terms of embedding media and uploading original content but since I am doing this more as a hobby, I really do not intend to "reach out" to people in too big a way. For me the most important thing is to connect to people and try to make sense of this world with all its complexities.
