I've always been fascinated with Japanese culture and recently I discovered the alternative fashion scene through Tokyo Kawaii TV and other sources. I really admired how Japanese girls had their own style and they expressed it so creatively. Well, I wanted a piece of that candy too! lol I live in a Midwestern out in the middle of nowhere town surrounded by 10 miles radius of corn fields so I had to improvise on how I could achieve these looks that I admired so much. Hence DIY Kawaii was born :D
