I love all things horror fiction. A phenomenal story to me happens when you pick up a book and watch as it unfolds, as you familiarize with the characters, and you become emotionally attached with them. You want them to make it. That is talent, when a writer can grab you at the first page. I adore a talented writer who can weave delicate relationships between characters and the enemy. Or how they can take the turmoil between them and exacerbate it to an explosive fight. Talent to me is a writer who has the courage to write a gruesome death for a main character or just some passerby. I also believe that every piece of fiction needs should be handled with the delicacy of a masterpiece. Be it a zombie or serial killer, I am a sucker for a great story. Most importantly I feel rewarded when talent asks me to edit these beautiful manuscripts.
