My name is Maggie but I also go by “Mumsy”. I am married have 7 adult children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. I love to blog and love animals of all kinds. I have been a foster mom for both children and animals.
We were foster parents for 18 years for the state of Arkansas and adopted 5 of the children we fostered. For about 10 years we were foster parents for the local humane society. We have been taking in stray, abused and abandoned dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, hamsters, fish and guinea pigs for the past 35 years.
I love to write and read blogs. Love meeting people and learning about places I have never been. Working crossword puzzles is another activity I enjoy.
