i am a two-faced artist (i am both a jewelry designer and a photographer) who dabbles in many mediums, and thinks of life as one huge, fantastic, messy, beautiful art project!
i have been designing jewelry for twenty years and making photographs for about twenty five. i became "official" when i started my company, Dream Big Arts, in september of 2001. since then i have had magnificent adventures as an artist, doing everything from participating in art festivals, teaching jewelry design and technique to adults, children and colleagues, exhibiting in galleries, shops and museums across the US, building my website and online business, co-founding an artists gallery in colorado, becoming a founding member of an artist cooperative in boston, to (most recently) building a play-doh pyramid with my four year old...who, incidentally, has decided she will naturally be an artist when she grows up and has already chosen glass as her medium. the project continues...
