Welcome to the Blog for youth baseball enthusiasts. David H. Crean is the founder of Gazelle Baseball and resident Blogger. David brings vast baseball knowledge and experience to the game. One professional scout referred to David as a "gazelle with a glove on" as he excelled at both shortstop and in centerfield with quickness, speed and a strong arm. He was the recipient of numerous athletic awards for his performances on and off the field, voted to many All Star Baseball Teams, a 1982 All WNY All Star, an Academic All American in College and a member of Maryvale High School's Hall of Fame in Western New York.



David played recreational and competitive ball including high school, collegiate and semi-pro, for more than 25 years before recurrent knee injuries prevented him from playing further. Since then, he has managed and coached Little League ball players from tee-ball to majors in Southern California. He is currently serving as an Officer on the Solana Beach Little League Board of Directors.
