I have a bachelor's in English with a minor in philosophy, a master's in teaching, and years of classroom and private instruction under my belt. My poems have appeared in The Heron's Nest, Laurels-The Literary Magazine, A Handful of Stones, and Literary Mama. My current jobs, in addition to mothering, include freelance editing, technical writing, journalism, copy writing, and tutoring. Heath Bard is my way of motivating myself to document through poetry the family history that unfolds around me daily. Will you join me in taking this small step to welcome poetry back into our culture? What better way to celebrate home life than in pithy words that will converse with the world after we are gone?
