I am a passionate wife, mother of two, cook, reader and the new volunteer coordinator for our school district. I have always had an interest in food but many years as a stay at home mom turned me into a "foodie". It is one of the chief avenues for my creativity and now this awakening has spilled over into other areas of my life. I am busy taking classes to earn my substance abuse certificate, as one of my other dreams in life is to work as a substance abuse counselor some day.
