NOTE:I am the mother of two grown sons.  I've known my way around the kitchen since I was old enough to walk.  I learned from my mother who was a sweet, loving lady who loved to cook for her family.  She had eight brothers and sisters so she knew how to prepare meals.  With today's fast paced world, I think we are relying too much on ready to eat pre-packaged foods.  They are less healthy, more expensive and certainly not nearly as delicious as the "real thing."  I look forward to sharing with you my home made favorites and some random motherly thoughts along the way.
