A recent grad of Hamilton College, I am passionate about media, communications, and education.
My enriching experiences range from being a Posse scholar, working at Comcast for three summers as an Emma Bowen Intern, founding a chapter of a Latina based sorority, teaching English and poetry in Ecuador for a semester abroad, and co-founding and co-coordinating Young People's Project @ Hamilton College, a math literacy outreach program as the first successful college site. These experiences have shaped me into a hard worker that continually strives for excellence and creativity.
Experience: Corporate Community Investment / Employee Communications / Community-Based Programs
One of my hobbies are writing. I have been writing for most of my life, loving poetry, playwriting, and keeping a journal. In 2007 I won 2nd place in the MA state-wide Sherwood Collins Playwriting Contest with “The Tragic Mulatto is Neither.” In 2007 I began performing spoken word and my work as a freshman at Hamilton College and became addicted! Most of all, I love writing for myself taking in the world around me and pouring my thoughts and rhymes into the pages of my journal.
No matter where I end up, I am sure to bring my professionalism, hard work, creativity and enthusiasm.
