I'm a stay at home, homeschooling mom of four kids. For over a year, I have been posting a daily mommy prayer on Facebook, and it's been so much fun that I took a friend's suggestion to start a blog. Every day here is filled with moments and events that show me God's grace and ways to derive joy from the mundane. Sometimes I pause to reflect on errors, either my own or someone else's, that cause me to feel a deep gratitude for a merciful Lord, who so loved us that he sent His only begotten Son to rescue us from sin and death, if only we will accept His friendship.

Comments on this blog are moderated. This keeps all of us from having to read ads for easy money or physical enhancement products. You can leave comments I don't like, or even ones with which I strenuously disagree, and I'll still approve it as long as you leave profanity out of it. Start dropping f-bombs, and into the trash folder it goes -- probably with a note from me inviting you to resubmit your comment with gentler language. In other words, no profanity, no slurs; if you've taken the time to read my blog and would like to speak your piece in response, I'll happily grant you the bandwidth.
