I'm supposed to be “oppressed”…. But I can assure you that I am not oppressed. I have not been forced to wear Hijab or to follow Islam by any one. I am doing it happily according to my own will and desire as I am following the Truth of Islam and obeying my God Allah because I firmly believe in the last day and that we all will be accountable for our actions on the day of judgment. The Hijab, the Muslim veil, the nun's clothing, it liberates the woman from the oppression of fashion. Woman is not judged by what she looks like and how she dresses up but by her brains and intellect. I am from Chennai, India..
