NOTE:At the end of April 2011, I began the adoption process.  I am 32 and single.  After my separation in 2009 then divorce in 2010, I had an overwhelming desire to be a mom.  I think because my dream of having a family that I kept putting off because of school was then ruined.  I always thought about adopting but thought it was so far out of reach.  Once I started researching it, I realized that this is something that isn't that far out of reach and it's something I can do as a single.  I know there are other options but my heart kept taking me back to adopting because I know there is a child out there that wants a mom and a home as much as I want a child and to give a child a loving home.  So here I am.  I'm ready to begin this journey and bring my child home to her forever family.
