In October 1999, James Aristophanes Keaton, a college student from Denver, Colorado, travelled to Germany for Study Abroad. He stayed there until August 2000. He was 21. He wrote a lot.

Recently, his scribblings were found in a cabinet when his parents were decluttering to move house.

When he was 21, he probably wanted these to be published. Now that he's probably in his 30s, he may not feel the same. But I am publishing them here anyway.

The current whereabouts of James Arisophanes Keaton are unknown. He would have liked to live in Berlin, but he probably lives in Wilmington, Delaware or something.

Some of the entries he titled himself; for others I have supplied a title, usually a lyric from a song. The song choice probably says more about my musical preferences than his.

He did not usually date his entries, so all dates are approximate.
