NOTE:I am retired pastor of Grace Communion International with World Headquarters at Glendora, California, U.S.A.   I and my wife Gloria, my ever-loving helpmeet of 46 years now and counting, are presently residing at Sharjah, U.A.E.  Our 4 children and 10 grandchildren are living nearby in separate flats in Al Nahda 1, Sharjah.  Originally we came from the Philippines up north Luzon in Villasis, Pangasinan near Baguio City.  As a victim of three strokes already; the third stroke took literally my speech away.  As you know the main duty of a pastor is ministry of the Word of God: be it in teaching, preaching or counseling.  As I can not any longer communicate effectively my pastoral ministry was ended.  So I turn to writing blogs to keep my mind sharp and active though my body — the outward man is perishing.  My hobbies are photography and playing chess.  I enjoy also light gardening.  In the Philippines, we live in the country where we have a large backyard.  We have planted fruit-bearing trees like avocado, papaya, kaimito, kalamansi, lanzones, guayabano, banana, and rambutan.  We have also all kinds of leafy vegetables like kamote, alugbati, ampalaya, pechay, etc.  We also raise native chickens, the Jolo breed and goats.  We buy everything here in the Arab Emirates. That’s why I really miss our garden of fruits and vegetables.
