I'm a poet and amateur naturalist who loves Jesus wholeheartedly. I love taking pictures of wildflowers and writing poetry about nature.
One of my favorite verses is Philippians 1:21: "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." I want my whole life to be for Jesus, and to "shine like the dawn" (Psalm 37:5-6) for Him.
One of my favorite poets is Helen Steiner Rice. The other would have to be Amy Carmichael. (She wrote poetry, did you know?) Both of them are models I look up to. Amy Carmichael gave up her life for Jesus, and Helen Steiner Rice's poems show how much Christ was in her life.
That's what I want my poems to do.
