Jill Henderson
Jill Henderson is an artist, author and naturalist with a passion for wild edible and medicinal plants, organic gardening, seed saving and sustainable agriculture.
She currently authors and edits the blog Show Me Oz: The Very Best of the Ozarks (http://showmeoz.wordpress.com), which focuses on building community around sustainable ideals relevant to the people of the Ozarks region of Missouri and Arkansas.
In 2005, Jill's passion and knowledge of gardening, sustainable living, and medicinal plants prompted her to write her first book, The Healing Power of Kitchen Herbs: Growing and Using Nature's Remedies (Smashwords & CreateSpace).
Her second book, A Journey of Seasons: A Year in the Ozarks High Country (Smashwords & CreateSpace) is a beautiful nature autobiography based on her experiences in the backwoods of the Missouri Ozarks.
Her third book The Garden Seed Saving Guide: Seed Saving for Everyone (Smashwords & CreateSpace) stemmed from her popular presentations centered around the global challenges presented by bio-engineered food crops and how to grow and save open-pollinated heirloom seeds.
