Joan also provides support for those wishing to develop their presenting skills and\/or their use of online social applications.\n\nIn 2006, Joan established her consultancy, JNthWEB. She is passionately interested in how computers can be used to support business, writing and research. She has co-authored a text on report writing, has had a number of articles published in educational journals, and frequently gives presentations at conferences. She received her M. Ed from the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education, University of Toronto in 1992 and her Ph.D., focused on moving from technophobia to technophilia, in 2004.
