Moved to Dunedin from South Africa and have loved it! Often over a coffee wonder why it took us so long to make this move to this beautiful country... But then again things happen when they are meant to happen and the Good Lord new when the time would be right for us as a family! Travis, who's 13yrs old - Lives, eats and breath's rugby and if we aren't talking rugby he will find a way to change the subject back to his 1st love - Rugby! Thankfully, hubby Steve and I also love our rugby and all grew up with it so Travis, you go for it my boy as we are proud of you:)) Travis has already become a fully converted supporter, fan and future All Blacks in the making!!
Ethan my youngest, he's 9yrs old and on the other hand just can't make up his mind, when it come's to sport, what he wants to play, as he just want's to be outside doing anything! He's climbing trees, playing mini-ball, rippa-rugby to Tee-ball and golf! What he wants to do when he leave's school,well... nobody knows!! His mind is so far in the clouds we just love him for his confidence and individuality and I'm sure when the time is right he will eventually land with both feet firmly planted on the ground and decide what he wants to do even if it's climb Everest and concure my fears of him falling from the tree's!!
Me, well what is there to say but so long as my family is happy, I'm happy! I started to scrapbook thanks to my cousin...At his 21st I was the photographer, no I'm not a professional if anything I'm far from it but I had an idea and when I started to tell him what I wanted to do his family left it all to me and hence the scrapbooking landed in my lap!! What a blessing it has been. So many people have told me stories about how lonely they got when relocating but I scrapped my family when ever I got lonely or I missed my family it brought me closer to my family and made my memories stronger of the times spent togother:) You're journaling of the good times with them and you can pour you emotions into your work it really relaxed me and brought me closer to my family and my love for scrapbooking. Scrapbooking is my best friend!
