How are you? I'm just fine and dandy, thank you for asking (you did, right?) ... As for who I am, well, are you sure you wanna pull at that thread? Really? Ok then, here it goes! I am Jodie but PLEASE just call me Jo. I cook everyday (mostly), I feed people (as often as possible), I bake (to win friends and influence people!) and now I blog too! It's been a rollercoaster of a 30 years to get me to this point but I'm so happy I'm finally here... and here is a life filled with food (aka cake!) and love from wonderful friends, a crazy yet loving family and the most wonderful guy a girl could dream up - my fuzzy orange hubs (more on him some other time ;)!) When I'm not in the kitchen, I'm more than likely daydreaming about the next time I'll be there. You see, by day I have to earn the pennies being a dentist who is training also to become a doctor in the quest for a career in Oral Medicine - and yes, the irony of being a dentist who bakes compulsively is not lost on me, one day I'll tell you about my favourite job to fund me through a summer at dental school - as an ice cream van driver! But enough about me, please, pull up a seat, pour a coffee and let's get acquainted over a nice big fat slice of cake (who said you had to have your dinner before your pudding?)...
