I have a lovely wife, a dog, two cats, and a vegetable garden.

I am a graduate student at U Iowa in philosophy. I've started work on a dissertation on the epistemology of mathematics. I like to think about the foundations of mathematics, about logic and logicism, about language and thought, and about knowledge and its social dimensions. Recently, I've gotten a bit hooked on philosophy and statistics by way of Bayesian epistemology.
