I've lived in Astoria, Queens for over ten years, a place immersed in culture and diversity, and travel as often as possible, so I'm constantly inspired by my surroundings. Because of the incredible, eclectic, and flavorful people, places and foods I encounter daily, I came up with the name NotManhattan. I started off highlighting the often overlooked yet ever vibrant outer boroughs of New York City and now include places all over the world, and even Manhattan itself.
