NOTE:I’m Kate. I’m twenty-three years old and live in the Midwest. I am currently in recovery from an eating disorder and receiving treatment for PTSD, depression and anxiety.  It has not been an easy road that has led me to be able to truly call my life my own. After two treatments I have finally returned home to the house I have lived all my life. I’m putting puzzle pieces together in my brain and doing a lot of work in therapy.   In the meantime I try to remember that I am a human being – not a living, breathing, talking disorder. My blog is a little bit about everything that my life revolves around – recovery, faith, dogs, healing, identity, family and a lot more. You’ll see me talk about serious things, become angry at the media and laugh with my dogs. So my blog is a wide variety but in all of this there is one common element. Each step I take. Each push forward. Each lapse that I learn from means I am fighting. And I am going to continue fighting until I am all the way back to life.
